Karmal is a graduate of the Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from The University of the Fraser Valley and a current student of the Registered Massage Therapy Program at VACC in Burnaby. Passionate in helping people find relief from pain. With a strong foundation in sports therapy and a passion for functional movement, Karmal is here to help you move, feel, and perform at your best. Before starting his career in massage therapy, Karmal worked as a volunteer athletic therapist and kinesiologist, supporting athletes through game-day prep and recovery. His hands-on experience in muscle release, joint taping, and muscle correction gives him a unique edge when it comes to treating pain and enhancing performance.

Through his training at VACC, Karmal has refined his palpation and assessment skills, gaining in-depth knowledge of anatomy, muscle synergy, and a wide range of massage therapy techniques.

Treatments Karmal offers include:

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Swedish massage
When he’s not in the clinic, Karmal keeps active with regular weight training, men’s basketball leagues, and even snowboarding. He also enjoys working with youth athletes in the community, helping them build strong, healthy habits. Karmal looks forward to providing great value to his patients.
Please note, Karmal currently cannot accept insurance companies for Direct Billing as he is not registered yet.

Body Worker

Body Worker is a form of massage treatmentent in which the person that will be massaging you is not yet registered. Some of the areas a Body Worker can help are:

  • tension induced headaches and muscle aches
  • sport injuries
  • overall weekly aches

We provide Body Worker Massages as an option to those that want to receive quality treatment but do not have insurance coverage. The treatment rates are lower but they are not covered by any insurance or extended health benefits. In general, our Body Workers are current students or recent graduates of school of massage therapy and in the process of obtaining their RMT designations.

Our Body Workers can only perform:

  • Swedish Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage

Body Worker Rates:

Our Body Workers focus on improving patient's health through their expertise and experience. Please note that our Body Worker sessions are not covered by Extended Health Benefits or ICBC.
