Cedric Dela Cruz, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Cedric Dela Cruz

Cedric is passionate about his work and takes pride in quality. As a therapist and as a person, He is very meticulous and curious with finding and treating the cause of your concerns. He’s worked with various patients and therapists over the course of learning his practice, from working with athletes to working with seniors. His patient-centered care revolves around this experience—adapting to each individual patient, making sure you feel as comfortable as possible while still performing a safe and effective treatment.

Growing up playing various sports, Cedric is well-acquainted with recovering from strenuous activities and/or minor injuries. Inversely, since he was young (and even now), he’s also been on the computer for hours on end, sitting in the same position all day. After studying the art of massage, he’s gotten to know his body better and what he can do to maintain my health. As a therapist now, he wants to share this wealth through his treatments—treatments that not only include mending soft tissue injuries, but also include helping patients eliminate bad habits or providing some tips that may help with daily living. Cedric give patients homecare , so that patient-care goes beyond the appointments. Cedric does his best to bring you back to your best through knowledge and empathy. He is available Mondays and Wednesdays. He provides services in both English and Tagalog.

Hanah Cardenas

Hanah is a new graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (New Westminster) and recently passed her board examination. A little background about Hanah before she started her massage therapy journey is that she was studying to become a physiotherapist in the Philippines before moving to Canada. While she was in university, Hanah was a track and field athlete and competed to represent her department of Health Sciences. Shortly after arriving in Vancouver, she decided to pursue massage therapy and studied at WCCMT.

Throughout her years of schooling Hanah has acquired valuable experience treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions such as sprain, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, headaches/migraine, fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet syndrome, gastrointestinal concerns such as constipation, geriatric and general day-to-day muscle tensions. She believes that effective treatment and optimum healing requires open and clear communication and a team-oriented approach. Hanah adheres to the motto “teamwork makes the dream work!”.

As an RMT, her approach to effective treatment is to work with the patient’s goals while providing therapeutic and relaxing treatments and customized homecare plans for her patients on their journey towards a pain-free lifestyle! Some of the techniques that she utilizes for treatments are General Swedish massage (deep tissue or relaxing massage), myofascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, pin and stretch technique, PNF techniques and more as she is driven to learn new techniques in the future to further help her patients. In her spare time, Hanah enjoys working out, biking, jogging, hiking and going on “food adventures” with friends and family.

Rodrigo Zimmermann

Rodrigo Zimmermann joins us after graduating from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and is currently accepting new patients. He is passionate about caring for others and participating with patients in the process of improving their mobility and overall wellness.

He loves Martial Arts and gymnastics and has already practiced Karate and Kung fu in his life. Through the practice of martial arts, he grew an interest in how movement intrinsically affects our whole body and how our nervous system plays a role in it.

He believes the body is a vehicle that shapes our experience of life and as a massage therapy student, he had the opportunity to observe how complex and intrinsic our body is, from its atomic level of organization to its human organism level in which, marvelously, all body systems intertwine with each other to keep this vehicle in balance, alive and in movement.

Rodrigo learned an array of techniques, such as Swedish, Myofascial release, Orthopedic & Sports Massage, and other Neuromuscular techniques, which have enabled him to contribute to the process of helping his patients find physical, mental and emotional balance. His treatment style focuses on putting the patient in a parasympathetic state so that the body can rest from and digest all the challenges, pain and anxiety of daily life.

Kevin Wong

Kevin is a Graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and has a previous background in the field of Kinesiology. He discovered his interest in how the human body works during his time playing high level hockey from a young age, needing to see several health care professionals for rehabilitation from injuries.

Throughout the course of his RMT education he got the opportunity to work with a wide array of patients including sports injury, neurological pathologies, general massage, relaxation, and more. Kevin’s treatment style is centred on achieving client goals with current scientific literature in mind, using efficient and relaxing techniques.

In his spare time Kevin enjoys working out at the gym, playing video-games, and spending time with his friends.
